I was a teacher, a stay-at-home mom, then a homeschooling mom for 15 years.  I needed our home to be calm, inviting and functional.  Constantly tweaking what worked and more importantly, what didn't.  

     Not a lot of extra money to play with, I got creative, used what I had, and discovered the thrill of treasure hunting at thrift stores.

     As the kids were growing up, I'd help girlfriends rearrange rooms in their homes that weren't working.  I cleaned up, bagged things to give away, moved furniture, painted a lot, and made small purchases to add details if they couldn't already be found in the home. One friend asked me to help stage her house, another encouraged me to make a Facebook page.  That was nine years ago.

      I want you to love your home.  We can figure out what should stay, go, or move.  Maybe you have a budget to get something new, maybe you need to make-do. The rooms shown here are a collaboration.  It's not about me.  The design needs to be functional, practical, and beautiful.  It's my job to help make your home work for you.
